FINAL MARKS AND ORALS

The marks will be posted in the secretaria virtual on Monday 28th.
Onwards and upwards to the 2nd semester.

final marks

Your final marks will be posted in this blog and then in the Secretaria Virtual this weekend.

Please note that each task is assessed according to the percentages given in the course outline, which you will find in this blog, posted back in September.

Marks are calculated according to the calculations across all the tasks.
Please note:

1. If you did not hand in an assignment, including the oral, the final mark is reduced accordingly. Not doing an assignment represents '0'.
2. If you missed more than the one third of the sessions, which represents 11 lessons, and these were not justified by a formal justification from doctor or place of work (if you are a registered as a worker student), you do not pass the course because of faltas.
3. If your final mark is 8 or 9, in other words you failed, the exame de recurso is on 11th February at 10.00. Check room in the department, but I think it is room 04.

Marks will be posted this weekend.

January 2008

A Happy New Year to you all when it comes, and count down to the end of the 1st semester.

Take a note of these dates:

Mini-talk session 2 - Wednesday 9th January ( those who did not present on December 19th as programmed - last chance!)
Mini-talk session 3 - Monday 14th January
Class assignment 5 (discursive writing) - Wednesday 16th January
Orals - Monday 21st January and Wednesday 23rd January

Be aware of 'faltas'. Everyone should be present at the mini -talks, and of course, the class assignment. 'Faltas' have to be justified with an official note. Remember that you have to attend 60% of the lessons. If you are not sure about your faltas, check with me.

So, once again, a great New Year. Enjoy the parties, the festivities, the quiet reflections and the time with family and friends.
